Aftercare and follow-up
Bring your experience back into the next decision.
Care continues with the advice you follow at home and the review of how you are doing. Your physician plans aftercare and follow-up around your condition, treatment and response.
For your next visit
Bring your previous written prescription, any new reports and an updated list of medicines or supplements.
Follow-up consultation · ₹250
Usually around 10–15 minutes, depending on clinical needs.
Medicines and procedures are charged separately.
After a procedure
Follow the plan given for you.
Diet, activity, rest and other aftercare instructions vary with the procedure and the individual. Clarify them with your treating physician before leaving the clinic.
Panchakarma overview →Meals and everyday routines
Ask which dietary guidance applies, how long to follow it and how to return to your usual routine. A general website guide cannot replace your individual instructions.
Rest and travel
Your physician may advise rest, transport assistance or accompaniment depending on the treatment and your condition. Follow the arrangements agreed for your visit.
Medicines and the next review
Keep the written prescription and use medicines according to the instructions given. Discuss any proposed changes to existing treatment with the prescribing doctor, and confirm when your next review is due.
At your review
Tell us what has changed.
Your response
Explain what has improved, what has stayed the same and any new concerns since the previous visit.
Your everyday experience
Discuss anything that has been difficult to follow, including medicine instructions, diet, routines or attending treatment.
New information
Bring new reports and tell your physician about changes made by other clinicians. Your next steps can then be considered with the fuller picture.
Between visits
Know when and how to seek help.
Before leaving, ask what to expect after your particular treatment and which symptoms should prompt medical assessment.
New or worrying symptoms
Seek medical advice promptly if you feel unwell or develop worrying symptoms after treatment. Do not wait for a routine follow-up if the concern needs earlier assessment.
Urgent medical needs
For severe or rapidly worsening symptoms, seek appropriate emergency medical care. Ashtaang is an outpatient clinic and does not provide emergency or 24-hour services.
Appointment arrangements
Contact reception during working hours to arrange or change a follow-up visit. The timing and number of consultations depend on your condition and treatment plan.
Review, then decide
There is no fixed course for everyone.
Your physician reviews your response before recommending the next steps. Follow-up may include further advice, an adjustment to the plan, investigation or referral where appropriate. Bring your questions as well as your prescription.
